Successful Launch of the Time Capsule Project at OIPA Meeting!

The Irving Park Hist0rical Society successfully launched its latest project on 2/13/2012.  The project is called the Electronic Time Capsule.  It is aimed at documenting current life in Old Irving Park for future generations.  The project uses Internet technologies (Web, Email and Social networking), to allow for donations of Photograph/small videos to the Society to be included in the yearly time capsule.  The intent is to present the highlights of the Time Capsule in a dedication ceremony at the end of each year!  For information about the program and how to donate pictures click here.
